Alleva Care Renal-Antiox is a complete dry dietetic food for adult dogs, designed to support kidney function in chronic or temporary renal failure, as well as to reduce the formation of oxalate and urate stones.

General characteristics

Alleva Care Renal-Antiox contains less protein for better control of nitrogen catabolites in the blood, reduced phosphorus to limit the occurrence of hyperphosphatemia and secondary hyperparathyroidism, and moderate sodium to limit the occurrence of systemic hypertension. The product also contains a small amount of calcium and vitamin D3 to reduce the formation of oxalate stones. Limited levels of selected proteins (whole egg) reduce the formation of urate stones. The addition of potassium citrate and carbonate promotes an alkaline urine pH, increasing the saturation point of crystals and counteracting systemic acidosis. The formula is complemented by a plant blend high in polyphenols, which can prevent oxidative stress in all body systems, and is enriched with Omega-3, which has anti-inflammatory properties, and krill oil, which, together with the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis, is an important source of astaxanthin.
